Lid Raad van Toezicht: Ondernemerschap in de Beeldende Kunst Stichting Mondriaan Fonds Het Mondriaan Fonds en Boer & Croon werken samen in de zoektocht naar twee nieuwe leden voor de Raad van Toezicht. Wij zoeken ervaren toezichthouders die met strategisch inzicht, maatschappelijke betrokkenheid en een onafhankelijke blik bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van één van de zes rijkscultuurfondsen van Nederland. Als lid van de Raad van Toezicht houd je toezicht op het bestuur, fungeer je als kritisch sparringpartner voor de directeur-bestuurder en draag je bij aan de governance en maatschappelijke positionering van het fonds. Voor deze vacatures zoeken we kandidaten met een profiel op het gebied van 'samenleving en publiek' respectievelijk 'ondernemerschap in de beeldende kunst'. Beiden brengen gezag, bestuurlijke sensitiviteit en het vermogen mee om verschillende perspectieven te verbinden in een complex en maatschappelijk relevant werkveld. Executive Search Functieomschrijving De Raad van Toezicht heeft statutair tot taak toezicht te houden op het beleid van het bestuur en op de algemene gang van zaken. De Raad van Toezicht staat het bestuur met raad terzijde. De Raad van Toezicht bestaat uit tenminste drie en ten hoogste zeven leden. Samen vertegenwoordigen zij een rijke kennis van de samenleving; van het (internationale) veld van beeldende kunst en van cultureel erfgoed; van cultureel ondernemen; van financiën, van juridische zaken en van corporate governance. De bevoegdheden, taken, werkwijze en samenstelling van de Raad van Toezicht staan op de website van het Mondriaan Fonds beschreven. Recent is een nieuwe bestuurder benoemd en per 1 januari is de nieuwe Governance Code Cultuur van kracht, een goed moment om de governance ambities te herijken. De Raad van Toezicht komt gemiddeld viermaal per jaar bijeen met het bestuur en eenmaal zonder bestuur. De leden onderhouden daarnaast frequent contact met elkaar en met het bestuu...
