Bibliotheek Utrecht: Lid Raad van Toezicht Bibliotheek Utrecht in Utrecht zoekt een Lid Raad van Toezicht voor circa 80 tot 100 uur per jaar | Vacature voor een Nevenfunctie, Onbezoldigd | Sluitingsdatum: 25-10-2026 Bibliotheek Utrecht is van én voor iedereen. Met 12 vestigingen, ruim 100.000 leden en meer dan 2,2 miljoen bezoekers per jaar zijn wij de grootste ledenclub van Utrecht. We zijn veel meer dan een plek waar boeken worden uitgeleend. We zijn een plek om te lezen, leren, ontmoeten, kennis te delen en tot rust te komen. Daarnaast zijn we actief op 80 onderwijslocaties met Boekstart in de kinderopvang en de Bibliotheek op school. Samen met inwoners, onderwijsinstellingen, maatschappelijke organisaties en de gemeente werken we aan een stad waarin iedereen mee kan doen. We stimuleren leesplezier en taalontwikkeling, versterken digitale vaardigheden en dragen bij aan burgerschap. Onze missie is helder: Utrechters halen het beste uit zichzelf en uit elkaar, krijgen grip op de complexe samenleving en maken deel uit van de gemeenschap. Vanwege het aftreden van een van onze leden zijn we per 1 januari 2027 op zoek naar een nieuw Lid Raad van Toezicht circa 80 tot 100 uur per jaar De zittingstermijn bedraagt vier jaar. Herbenoeming is eenmaal mogelijk. Wat breng je mee? Voor deze vacature zoeken wij een toezichthouder met kennis van juridische vraagstukken en governance. Je hoeft geen jurist te zijn. Wel ben je vanuit je werk of bestuurlijke ervaring gewend om juridische, bestuurlijke en organisatorische vraagstukken te beoordelen en hierover mee te denken op strategisch niveau. Daarnaast: - Heb je bestuurlijke, toezichthoudende of eindverantwoordelijke ervaring. - Is kennis van privacywetgeving en AVG een pre. - Kun je risico's en maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen in een bredere context beoordelen. - Heb je affiniteit met de maatschappelijke opdracht van Bibliotheek Utrecht.
