We brengen mensen, verhalen en kennis bij elkaar en werken zo aan een kansrijke en sterke gemeenschap. Wat doet de Raad van Toezicht? De Raad van Toezicht denkt mee over de koers, houdt toezicht op beleid en uitvoering en adviseert. De Raad is een klankbord voor de directeur van de Bibliotheek. Je vergadert ongeveer zes keer per jaar samen met de andere vier leden en de directeur. Onderwerpen zijn bijvoorbeeld strategie, financiën, samenwerking en personeelsbeleid. De Raad fungeert als team waarbij ieders kracht benut en gerespecteerd wordt. De sfeer en de wijze van omgang zijn open en professioneel. Benoeming vindt plaats voor een termijn van vier jaar met de mogelijkheid tot verlenging met maximaal vier jaar. Leden ontvangen een onkostenvergoeding en onderschrijven de Governance Code Cultuur.
