Versa Welzijn is al 50 jaar een brede welzijnsinstelling in de gemeenten in de Gooi- en Vechtstreek en Eemland. Onze organisatie van 200 medewerkers is, samen met zo'n 1.600 vrijwilligers, actief als aanbieder van buurtwerk, jeugdwerk, maatschappelijk werk, opvoedondersteuning, sociaaljuridische dienstverlening, wonen-welzijn-mantelzorgondersteuning, activiteiten gericht op participatie, lichte zorg en dagbesteding, buurtbemiddeling, het Meldpunt Discriminatie, beheer van vrijwilligerscentrale en vrijwillige inzet. Versa Welzijn beschikt voor al deze onderdelen over het kwaliteitslabel van Sociaal Werk Nederland. De organisatie werkt vanuit vertrouwen, vakmanschap en ruimte voor de professional; de afgelopen jaren was dit mede vormgegeven vanuit het Rijnlands gedachtegoed en de organisatie oriënteert zich momenteel op de verdere doorontwikkeling van haar besturingsvisie en bijbehorende structuur. De toezichthouder die wij zoeken De Raad van Toezicht (RvT) bestaat nu uit 5 leden, ieder met een eigen aandachtsgebied. Eén lid verlaat de raad vanwege einde zittingstermijn per 1 januari 2027. Hierdoor ontstaat ruimte voor één nieuw lid voor onze raad van toezicht met een HR- en organisatieprofiel. Het nieuwe lid zal deelnemen in verschillende commissies, zoals renumeratiecommissie en commissie Mens en Organisatie.
