DirectieWerf Logo Lid Raad van Toezicht De Organisatie Stichting Vrijescholen Ithaka zet zich in om het vrijeschoolonderwijs in de regio Noord-en Zuid Holland te stimuleren, te promoten en verder te ontwikkelen. Ithaka wil er aan bijdragen, dat het proces "worden wie je bent" leidt tot een fundamenteel vertrouwen in de wereld om ons heen. De scholen zijn verspreid over de provincie Noord-Holland en hebben ieder hun eigen kleur en profilering. Het betreft de basisscholen in Alkmaar, Bergen, Oudorp, Haarlem, Hillegom, Hoofddorp, Hoorn, Purmerend en Zaandam. De stichting heeft daarmee een kleine 2.000 leerlingen, circa 220 medewerkers en ongeveer € 10 miljoen aan baten. De Stichting werkt met het Raad-van-toezichtmodel en wordt bestuurd door een eenhoofdig College van Bestuur. De Raad van Toezicht telt vier leden en een voorzitter. De Positie Stichting VS Ithaka zoekt vanwege het vertrek van een van haar leden een: Lid Raad van Toezicht Profiel Het lid Raad van Toezicht dient, gezien de huidige samenstelling van de raad te voldoen aan de volgende kenmerken: • Heeft als voorzitter van de auditcommissie gedegen strategische financiële kennis en cijfermatig inzicht. • Heeft reeds toezichthoudende ervaring en heeft een goed ontwikkeld reflecterend vermogen op deze rol. • Ziet de meerwaarde van medezeggenschap en weet deze zonder last of ruggespraak te vertalen naar de onafhankelijke rol van lid RvT. • Heeft affiniteit met de sector onderwijs en met de vrijeschool in het bijzonder. • Heeft ervaring in de voor de scholengroep relevante vraagstukken en weet als sparringpartner en klankbord mee te denken in de verdere versterking van de bedrijfsvoering van de groep.
