Het Amsterdams Lyceum Gezocht Lid Raad van Toezicht Sluitingsdatum 25 oktober 2026 Amsterdam Het Amsterdams Lyceum Wil jij jouw kennis inzetten voor beter onderwijs in Amsterdam? Als lid van de Raad van Toezicht van Het Amsterdams Lyceum draag je direct bij aan de kwaliteit en stabiliteit van een unieke school. Er is per 1 januari 2027 één vacature in de Raad van Toezicht te vervullen, met als specifiek aandachtsgebied financiële zaken. In het kader van inwerken wordt het aspirant-lid vanaf november informeel betrokken bij de werkzaamheden van de Raad van Toezicht. Formele benoeming vindt plaats op een ingelaste online Algemene Vergadering van de vereniging in december, waarna deze ingaat per 1 januari 2027. We hechten veel waarde aan diversiteit en nodigen daarom ook kandidaten zonder toezichtervaring en met uiteenlopende achtergronden en levenssituaties van harte uit om te reageren. De Raad van Toezicht bewaakt als toezichthouder en sparringpartner de koers en continuïteit van de school en fungeert als werkgever van de rector-bestuurder. De Raad van Toezicht is ook een klankbord op alle onderwerpen die voor de school belangrijk zijn. De Raad van Toezicht ontvangt van de schoolleiding rapportages op het gebied van onderwijs, financiën, personeel en organisatie en dient goedkeuring te verlenen aan voorgenomen beleidsbesluiten daarover. In het kader van toezicht op de gang van zaken binnen de school, wint de Raad van Toezicht daarnaast ook informatie in door contacten met medewerkers, ouders en tijdens het halfjaarlijks overleg met de medezeggenschapsraad. Er wordt viermaal per jaar vergaderd met de rector-bestuurder en eenmaal per jaar wordt er vergaderd in besloten kring. De Raad van Toezicht telt na vervulling van deze vacatures zes leden.
