De kandidaat brengt kennis van HR en organisatieontwikkeling en ervaring met governance mee en draagt bij aan zorgvuldig toezicht op de organisatie. Met een strategische blik, een constructief kritische houding en oog voor verbinding en samenwerking versterkt het nieuwe lid de raad bij de verdere ontwikkeling van het museum. Over Het Noordbrabants Museum Het Noordbrabants Museum (HNBM) is een inlevend museum, geworteld in Brabant, waar de verbinding met kunst je kijk op Brabant en de wereld verruimt. Het museum richt zich expliciet op een breed en divers publiek en streeft naar optimaal toegankelijke collecties. Het HNBM laat nieuwe perspectieven op de toekomst ontstaan in het samenspel met bezoekers, makers, sponsoren en vrienden. De komende jaren staan in het teken van drie ambities: - Een schaalsprong waardoor het museum meer museale ruimte krijgt om impact te genereren; - Duurzame verbreding van publieksdoelgroepen; - Relevantie voor 's-Hertogenbosch, Brabant én resonantie in Nederland. HNBM bevindt zich in een fase waarin organisatieontwikkeling, leiderschap, samenwerking en goed werkgeverschap bijzondere aandacht vragen. Het nieuwe lid levert vanuit de toezichthoudende en werkgeversrol een belangrijke bijdrage aan deze ontwikkeling. Over de raad van toezicht De leiding van HNBM bestaat uit een tweehoofdig bestuur dat het museum leidt. De RvT ziet toe op het beleid van het bestuur en de algemene gang van zaken binnen de organisatie. De RvT verleent goedkeuring aan belangrijke besluiten en investeringen, evenals aan de begrotingen, jaarrekeningen en meerjarenplannen.
