Cultura Nova Cultura Nova zoekt een Lid voor de Raad van Toezicht - portefeuille HR Heb jij hart voor cultuur, passie voor mens en organisatie en geloof je in de kracht van verbeelding? Dan zoeken we jou. Over Cultura Nova Cultura Nova is een toonaangevend zomerfestival in Nederland dat kunstenaars en publiek van over de hele wereld inspireert. In tien dagen tijd presenteren we honderden voorstellingen en activiteiten, verspreid over verrassende locaties in de regio Parkstad en omstreken. Van grootschalige buitenproducties tot intiem beeldend theater, van dans tot circus en alles daartussen: we tonen werk van nieuwe makers én gevestigde namen, uit binnen- en buitenland. Samen met honderden artiesten, partners, producenten, sponsoren en vrijwilligers willen we mensen via podiumkunst een ander perspectief geven - zowel door het programma als door de bijzondere locaties. De regio is soms decor, soms podium, maar altijd onderdeel van het verhaal. Zo geven we ruimte aan verbeelding, nieuwe verhalen en verwondering. De gemeente Heerlen, landelijke cultuurfondsen en regionale bedrijven steunen onze missie. Cultura Nova is opgenomen in het Cultuurplan 2025-2028 van het Fonds Podiumkunsten en de Provincie Limburg. Over de Raad van Toezicht Cultura Nova is een stichting met een Raad van Toezicht van vijf tot zeven leden en houdt toezicht op het beleid en de uitvoering het festival. Maar de RvT is méér dan toezichthouder. Het orgaan is sparringpartner, aanjager en bewaker van de artistieke én maatschappelijke waarde van het festival. De RvT volgt de Code Cultural Governance, denkt mee met de directie en blijft dichtbij. Met enthousiasme, betrokkenheid en oog voor het grotere geheel.
