Linux Engineer Als Linux Engineer werk je samen met ervaren collega's aan Linux-omgevingen voor onze klanten. Je leert hoe bedrijfskritische systemen worden ingericht, onderhouden en verbeterd, terwijl je stap voor stap steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid krijgt. Je ondersteunt bij het doorvoeren van wijzigingen, helpt mee bij het oplossen van storingen en leert hoe Linux-systemen veilig, stabiel en betrouwbaar blijven functioneren. Daarbij maak je veel gebruik van de command line en krijg je de ruimte om je Linux-kennis verder uit te bouwen. Ook maak je kennis met onderwerpen zoals scripting, automatisering, webservers, DNS en open source-technologie. Samen met je collega's kijk je continu hoe werkzaamheden slimmer en efficiënter ingericht kunnen worden. Je wordt onderdeel van het Managed Unix-team binnen Core Services. Core Services vormt het technische fundament van Previder en bestaat uit de teams Linux, Infrastructuur, Storage & Virtualisatie en DevOps. Samen zorgen jullie voor stabiele en betrouwbare platformen voor onze klanten. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden in het kort - Linux-systemen en diensten optimaal laten functioneren, beveiligen en verder verbeteren. - Bewaken van de stabiliteit, beschikbaarheid en prestaties van Linux-omgevingen. - Werken met Apache- en Nginx-webservers en DNS-diensten. - Vereenvoudigen en standaardiseren van terugkerende werkzaamheden met Ansible en scripting. - Oplossen van complexe storingen, troubleshooting en performancevraagstukken. - Doorvoeren van wijzigingen en nieuwe functionaliteit binnen Linux-omgevingen.
