ID:10857-90840 De organisatie: Voor een moderne en groeiende IT-dienstverlener in de regio Elst ben ik op zoek naar een ervaren Linux Engineer. De organisatie ondersteunt verschillende klanten bij het beheren, beveiligen en verder ontwikkelen van bedrijfskritische IT- en hostingomgevingen. Je komt terecht in een technisch sterke organisatie waar veel kennis aanwezig is op het gebied van Linux, hosting, infrastructuur, cloud en security. Er wordt gewerkt met uiteenlopende klantomgevingen, waardoor je technisch veel afwisseling hebt en regelmatig te maken krijgt met complexe vraagstukken. Kwaliteit, stabiliteit en informatiebeveiliging spelen binnen de organisatie een belangrijke rol. Tegelijkertijd heerst er een informele werksfeer met korte lijnen en krijg je veel vrijheid om mee te denken over technische verbeteringen en automatisering. Er wordt daarnaast volop geïnvesteerd in opleidingen, certificeringen en jouw verdere ontwikkeling als engineer. De functie: Als Linux Engineer zorg je ervoor dat de Linux-omgevingen van verschillende klanten stabiel, veilig en optimaal blijven draaien. Je beheert en optimaliseert Linux-servers op basis van onder andere Ubuntu, Debian en RHEL en werkt daarnaast met hostingplatformen, webservers en databases zoals Apache, Nginx en MySQL/MariaDB. Je werk gaat verder dan alleen dagelijks beheer: bij complexere storingen duik jij als tweede- of derdelijns specialist de techniek in, zoek je uit waar het probleem zit en zorg je voor een structurele oplossing.
