The posting

Een betaalomgeving waarop dagelijks miljoenen transacties gebeuren, vraagt om een strak risicobeheer. Als Local Operational Risk Manager speel jij daarin een sleutelrol door risico’s te detecteren, te challengen en structureel te verbeteren. Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met collega’s uit afdelingen als Group Risk, Group Compliance, Audit, Local Risk, ACT en Group Legal.

Reken op een boeiende job in een omgeving die voortdurend in beweging is. De wereld van betaalverkeer staat immers niet stil. Al jaren vullen we onze backlog met uitdagende innovatieprojecten, nieuwe regelgeving en verbeteringen aan de veiligheid van onze verwerking. Dit zal de volgende jaren niet anders zijn.

Wat zijn de plannen van de ECB met de digitale Euro? Zullen we binnenkort met Stablecoins betalen? Jouw focus in die context is de risico’s bewaken, zodat onze klanten kunnen blijven rekenen op een foutloze, ononderbroken beschikbaarheid van betaalmogelijkheden. Zo heb je een grote impact op onze klanten en organisatie, en bouw je actief mee aan een veilige en toekomstgerichte betaalinfrastructuur.

Jobomschrijving

  • Je challenget en versterkt het risicobeheer binnen betalingsprocessen en -producten.
  • Je monitort risk exposure, incidenten (fraude, storingen) en controles.
  • Alle actieplannen, audits en operationele incidenten in payments volg jij nauwgezet op.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van risicodata en -rapportering.
  • Je coördineert risk assessments, deep dives en verbeterinitiatieven.
  • Collega’s vinden in jou een coach die hen helpt om meer bewust te zijn van risico’s.
  • Je vertaalt risk frameworks naar een pragmatische aanpak.
  • Je rapporteert over het resultaat van je risicoanalyses aan het senior management en werkt samen met de collega’s van 2e-lijnsrisicobheer.
  • Ook de administratie die nodig is om onze risico’s te documenteren en op te volgen, is bij jou in goede handen.
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma en interesse in de wereld van betaalverkeer. Ook naar de technologie erachter ben je nieuwsgierig.
  • Een uitdagende job binnen operationeel risicobeheer spreekt je aan. Heb je al ervaring met risk management? Nog beter!
  • Je combineert risicodenken met pragmatisme en durft kritisch te challengen in functie van verbeteringen.
  • Je communiceert helder en overtuigend in het Nederlands en Engels. Dankzij je communicatieve skills bouw je bruggen tussen business en risk.
  • Je werkt proactief, datagedreven en weet collega’s mee te nemen in een sterke risicocultuur. Veranderingen of deadlines schrikken je niet af.
  • Net zoals je collega’s leer je graag bij en hou je ervan om samen te werken met anderen. Tegelijk weet je je eigen werk zelfstandig te organiseren.
