Je ondersteunt bij complexere zorgvragen, signaleert veranderingen en schakelt waar nodig met behandelaren en andere disciplines. Je neemt deel aan zorgleefplanbesprekingen en MDO's en bewaakt samen met de teams dat afspraken rondom de zorg goed worden opgevolgd. Daarnaast coach je collega's in hun vakmanschap, deel je jouw verpleegkundige kennis en help je hen om met vertrouwen zelfstandig keuzes te maken. Tegelijkertijd blijf je dichtbij de praktijk. Wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt, ondersteun je in de directe zorg en voer je verpleegtechnische handelingen uit. Juist die verbinding met de werkvloer zorgt ervoor dat je goed weet wat er speelt en gericht kunt meedenken over wat teams en bewoners nodig hebben. Ook in de dagelijkse organisatie van de zorg heb je een belangrijke rol. Samen met de teamleiders en planners van de locatie houd je zicht op de bezetting en kijk je wat nodig is om de zorg goed te laten verlopen. Je signaleert knelpunten, denkt vooruit en zoekt samen naar passende oplossingen. Daarnaast kun je een eindverantwoordelijke rol hebben, bijvoorbeeld als BHV'er van dienst. Je werkt in dagdiensten van maandag tot en met vrijdag. Daarmee combineer je een verantwoordelijke verpleegkundige functie met regelmaat in je werkweek.
