Jobomschrijving

Als Transport Manager (Road) zal je volgend takenpakket behartigen:

  • Verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking en prestaties van het logistieke distributieplatform
  • Beheren en optimaliseren van relaties met logistieke partners, transporteurs en externe dienstverleners
  • Analyseren van logistieke data, volumes en performantie-indicatoren om efficiëntiewinsten te realiseren
  • Verder ontwikkelen van het Transport Management System (TMS) en beheren van de roadmap
  • Initiëren en leiden van continue verbeteringsprojecten binnen logistiek en distributie
  • Ondersteunen van de onboarding van nieuwe landen, business units en logistieke activiteiten binnen het platform
  • Fungeren als logistieke expert voor strategische optimalisaties en toekomstige transformatieprojecten binnen de groep

Je werkt nauw samen met een 4-tal collega's in het Supply Chain Team.

  • Je beschikt over een Master of Bachelor diploma
  • Je beschikt over relevante ervaring binnen logistiek, transport, distributie of supply chain
  • Je brengt kennis van distributienetwerken en wegtransport mee
  • Je kan vlot overweg met TMS-software en MS Office
  • Je beschikt over een uitstekende kennis van het Engels en over een goede kennis van het Frans
  • Je beschikt over analytische vaardigheden en combineert deze met een duidelijke communicatie
  • Je bent zelfzeker, daadkrachtig en staat stevig in de schoenen om uiteenlopende stakeholders uit te dagen en te begeleiden
