In deze rol stuur jij de internationale logistieke strategie aan en zorg je dat alle transporten en douaneprocessen Europa en wereldwijd foutloos verlopen. Je combineert de blik van een Logistics Manager met de precisie van een Customs Specialist: je bepaalt de koers, onderhandelt met logistieke partners en borgt customs compliance in meerdere landen. Je maakt deel uit van het management team, maar blijft vooral inhoudelijk expert in container shipping, international logistics en customs clearance. Deze positie geeft je een brede 360-graden verantwoordelijkheid over zee-, lucht- en road transport, met ruimte om procedures te structureren en contracten scherp te beheren.

  • Coördineren van alle internationale transportstromen (sea freight, air freight, road transport en courier logistics) tussen vestigingen in België, China, India, Mexico en de VS.
  • Uitwerken van logistieke strategieën voor de volledige groep en advies geven aan directie over kostenbesparing, risico's en optimale supply chain coordination.
  • Zelfstandig onderhandelen en beheren van contracten met expediteurs en transporteurs, inclusief keuze van Incoterms en voorwaarden.
  • Opzetten van duidelijke werkinstructies, templates en checklists voor collega's in shipping, supply chain en douane, zodat processen uniform en efficiënt verlopen.
  • Diepgaande ervaring als Logistiek Coördinator, Transport Manager, Logistics Coordinator of vergelijkbare rol in international logistics en freight forwarding.
  • Solide kennis van douanewetgeving en customs compliance, inclusief praktische ervaring met customs clearance en internationale regelgeving.
  • Sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden en ervaring met contractmanagement met logistieke partners en transporteurs.
  • Analytische procesdenker die complexe logistieke stromen kan structureren in duidelijke procedures en werkbare richtlijnen.
  • Communicatief vaardig, schakelt vlot tussen management en operationele collega's en voelt zich thuis in een internationale omgeving met verschillende culturen en tijdzones.
