Wil jij een logistieke organisatie van mee naar een hoger niveau tillen?

Voor een internationale productieomgeving in de voedingssector in regio Wielsbeke zoeken we een Logistics Manager die graag dicht bij de operatie staat.

Hier krijg je geen functie vanop afstand. Als Logistics Manager ben je zichtbaar op de werkvloer, coach je de teamleaders en breng je meer structuur in de dagelijkse logistieke werking. De organisatie telt ongeveer 60 tot 65 logistieke medewerkers, verdeeld over vijf ploegen. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat goederen tijdig en veilig doorheen de site bewegen en de productie vlot kan blijven draaien.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Site Director en neemt plaats in het plant management team. Daarmee combineert deze functie een stevige verantwoordelijkheid op de vloer met rechtstreekse betrokkenheid bij het management van de site.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De volledige logistieke werking over inbound, outbound, intern transport, magazijnbeheer en site-toegang valt onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid, waarbij een tijdige bevoorrading van de productielijnen centraal staat
  • Via de teamleaders geef je richting aan 60 tot 65 medewerkers verspreid over vijf ploegen en bouw je verder aan een cultuur waarin veilig, tijdig en gestructureerd werken vanzelfsprekend is
  • Regelmatig ben je zelf op de werkvloer aanwezig om de logistieke flows te volgen, medewerkers te motiveren en knelpunten samen met de betrokken teams aan te pakken
  • KPI's, veiligheid, kwaliteit, efficiëntie en budgetten volg je nauwgezet op, naast het beheer van het rollend materieel binnen de magazijnen
  • Samen met productie, planning, aankoop, supply chain en externe logistieke partners analyseer je bestaande processen en vertaal je verbeterpunten naar concrete optimalisaties
  • Een A2-, bachelor- of masterdiploma biedt een geschikte basis voor deze functie
  • Relevante ervaring binnen logistieke processen en people management is belangrijk, waarbij ervaring in de voedingsindustrie als pluspunt geldt
  • Vlot kunnen werken met verschillende IT-toepassingen is nodig, terwijl kennis van SAP en Objective een bijkomende troef vormt
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Frans is belangrijk en Engels is meegenomen, waarbij je mensen op de vloer kunt motiveren en bereid bent om geregeld aansluiting te zoeken bij nacht- en weekendploegen
