Wil jij een zichtbare impact hebben op de dagelijkse werking van een magazijn? Zet jouw analytisch inzicht in als WMS Specialist en bouw mee aan efficiëntere logistieke processen.

Als WMS Specialist kom je terecht bij een financieel gezond familiebedrijf actief binnen de maakindustrie en logistieke dienstverlening. Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die woonachtig is in de regio Temse. Met een team van een 400-tal medewerkers verspreid over meerdere Belgische vestigingen ondersteunt het bedrijf dagelijks professionele klanten in binnen- en buitenland. Dankzij hun jarenlange expertise en sterke marktpositie zijn ze uitgegroeid tot een vaste waarde binnen hun marktsegment.

Naast jouw rol als WMS Specialist maak je deel uit van een mensgerichte organisatie waar de communicatielijnen kort zijn en samenwerking centraal staat. Je krijgt een zelfstandige rol met veel verantwoordelijkheid, werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen en krijgt de vrijheid om verbeteringen aan te brengen die een directe impact hebben op de dagelijkse werking.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Zie je opportuniteiten om logistieke processen te verbeteren? Dan ga je samen met de betrokken afdelingen op zoek naar een structurele oplossing
  • Als WMS Specialist vorm je het aanspreekpunt voor alles wat met het warehousemanagementsysteem te maken heeft en stem je dagelijks af met collega's uit het magazijn, IT en Supply Chain
  • Een deel van je tijd breng je door op de werkvloer, waar je processen observeert, knelpunten oppikt en samen met de betrokken collega's verbeteringen uitwerkt
  • Achter de schermen test je nieuwe functionaliteiten, werk je procesaanpassingen uit en zorg je ervoor dat wijzigingen correct geïmplementeerd en gedocumenteerd zijn
  • Doorheen de week volg je optimalisatieprojecten op, bewaak je de voortgang van lopende acties en draag je bij aan een efficiëntere magazijnwerking
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een logistieke, IT-gerelateerde richting of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Daarnaast deed je minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring op binnen een warehouse-, logistieke of supply chain omgeving
  • Eerder werkte je al met SAP EWM of een ander WMS-systeem en voelt je je thuis in logistieke processen
  • Je communiceert vlot, durft initiatief nemen en voelt je comfortabel in een rol waarin je zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid opneemt
