The posting

Voor een internationaal actieve en hoogtechnologische productieorganisatie in de regio Zedelgem zoeken we een Logistics Project Engineer die mee vormgeeft aan de logistieke omgeving van de toekomst. Je krijgt een sleutelrol in de verdere automatisering en optimalisatie van interne materiaalstromen binnen een grootschalige productieomgeving.

Je combineert project engineering, logistiek en automatisering en werkt onder andere aan AMR/AGV-technologie, slimme materiaalflows en Lean-optimalisaties. Een interessante uitdaging voor een engineer die graag projecten realiseert waarbij technologie en operationele logistiek rechtstreeks samenkomen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je neemt als Project Engineer een trekkende rol op in de verdere transitie van de interne logistiek richting automatisering en Industry 5.0.
  • Je begeleidt de introductie en implementatie van AMR- en AGV-systemen en zorgt ervoor dat deze optimaal geïntegreerd worden binnen de bestaande productieomgeving.
  • Je analyseert bestaande logistieke processen en realiseert verbeteringen aan de hand van onder andere Kaizen, NVAA-analyses en lay-outstudies.
  • Je ontwerpt en optimaliseert complete interne materiaalstromen en bepaalt de meest geschikte logistieke concepten zoals JIT, JIS, Kitting en Kanban.
  • Je vertaalt nieuwe logistieke concepten naar concrete oplossingen en bepaalt welke tools, rekken, karren, handling equipment en andere middelen hiervoor noodzakelijk zijn.
  • Je werkt investeringsvoorstellen uit en brengt de benodigde CAPEX voor logistieke automatiserings- en optimalisatieprojecten in kaart.
  • Je gebruikt beschikbare data en tools zoals MS Office en Power BI om processen te analyseren, verbeteringen te onderbouwen en resultaten inzichtelijk te maken.
  • Je werkt intensief samen met Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Aankoop en Quality om nieuwe oplossingen te implementeren en operationele knelpunten structureel op te lossen.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische of logistieke richting en hebt een sterke interesse in interne logistiek binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met automatisering en slimme logistieke systemen; kennis van AMR/AGV, projectmanagement, Lean of Kaizen vormt een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en kunt data verwerken met MS Office en Power BI; daarnaast ben je bereid een opleiding Industrial Engineering te volgen en hiervoor een examen af te leggen.
  • Je bent communicatief en projectmatig sterk, werkt graag multidisciplinair en spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels.
