Over de functie

Als logistiek assistent / zorgkundige op ons operatiekwartier (OK) ben je een onmisbare schakel achter de schermen én aan het bed. Je draagt direct bij aan een optimaal verloop van de operatiedagen en de zorg voor onze patiënten. Je werkt hierbij nauw samen in een multidisciplinair team van verpleegkundigen en artsen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Backoffice & voorbereiding: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het werk in de backoffice, waar je nauwgezet alle materialen en instrumenten klaarzet voor de geplande ingrepen.
  • Zaalvoorbereiding: Je zorgt voor de opbouw en de opruim van ingrepen en operatiezalen, met een grote aandacht voor hygiëne.
  • Patiëntenvervoer: Je brengt patiënten met de nodige rust en zorg van en naar het Operatiekwartier.
  • Voorraad- en materiaalbeheer: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het bijhouden van de stocks en zorgt dat er niets ontbreekt.
  • Logistieke ondersteuning: Je staat in voor het tijdig afhalen en afleveren van zowel steriele als niet-steriele materialen.

Via een opleidingstraject leer je stap per stap alle taken voor een zorgkundige / logistiek assistent in ons operatiekwartier.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je hebt een diploma van zorgkundige of beschikt over een getuigschrift logistiek assistent.
  • Je hebt een hart voor de zorg en stelt de patiënt altijd centraal.
  • Je bent onvoorwaardelijk vriendelijk, want daar staan we in az Vesalius voor.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, punctueel en kan zeer nauwkeurig werken.
  • Je kunt goed functioneren binnen de dynamiek en tijdsdruk van een OK-setting.
  • Je bent een echte teamplayer die vlot communiceert met artsen en verpleegkundigen.
  • Je werkt op onze campus in Tongeren.
  • Je werkt in variabele werkuren (tussen 7u en 20u), zonder weekendwerk, feestdagen of wachtdiensten.
