Functie

Voor een bedrijf in Heverlee zijn we op zoen naar een transport officer. In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het organiseren en opvolgen van het transport van bestellingen en leveringen. Wat zal je doen:

  • Het organiseren van de ophaling van afgewerkte bestellingen via de transportmodule van SAP of het invoeren van zendingen in de daarvoor bestemde transportsoftware
  • Contact onderhouden met transporteurs om ervoor te zorgen dat ophalingen tijdig plaatsvinden en de nodige documenten (ophaallijsten, facturen enz.) volgens afspraak worden bezorgd
  • Dealers en GC-kantoren informeren over de geplande leverdatum en de benodigde transportdocumenten bezorgen
  • Overleggen met verschillende betrokken partijen bij leveringsproblemen en klachten
  • Laden van pallets of dozen op vrachtwagens
  • Kleine zendingen in ontvangst nemen en het interne transport op de site organiseren
  • Administratieve ondersteuning bieden aan de Logistics Transport Supervisor
  • De efficiëntie en kosten van alle transportzendingen optimaliseren

Profiel

  • Je hebt grondige kennis van en ervaring met transport
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van de transportmodule van SAP
  • Kennis van douanereglementering is een pluspunt
  • Je hebt kennis van de regelgeving rond gevaarlijke goederen, waaronder IATA- en ADR-regelgeving
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands en Engels uitstekend. Kennis van het Frans is mooi meegenomen
  • Je hebt een goede tot gevorderde kennis van MS Office, waaronder Excel, Word en Outlook
  • Je bent beschikbaar om te werken van 8.00 tot 16.30 uur
  • Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Je hebt een positieve ingesteldheid en bent gemotiveerd
