Ben jij een ervaren people manager met een passie voor logistiek, procesoptimalisatie en operationele excellentie? Voor een productieomgeving in West-Vlaanderen zijn we op zoek naar een Logistiek Manager die verantwoordelijk wordt voor de dagelijkse aansturing en verdere ontwikkeling van de logistieke organisatie.

Als Logistiek Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de continuïteit, efficiëntie en optimalisatie van alle logistieke activiteiten op de site. Je geeft leiding aan verschillende verantwoordelijken en teamleaders die samen instaan voor een vlotte goederenstroom binnen een 24/7-operatie.

Je takenpakket omvat onder meer:

  • Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van de logistieke teams binnen inbound, outbound, intern transport, magazijnbeheer en site-toegang.
  • Zorgen voor een efficiënte ontvangst, opslag en distributie van grondstoffen, halffabricaten en afgewerkte producten.
  • Uitbouwen van een sterke samenwerking met interne afdelingen zoals productie, planning, supply chain en aankoop.
  • Onderhouden van contacten met externe logistieke partners en magazijnen.
  • Opvolgen en beheren van het rollend materieel binnen de logistieke afdeling.
  • Analyseren van bestaande logistieke processen en identificeren van verbeteropportuniteiten.
  • Initiëren en implementeren van optimalisatieprojecten in samenwerking met de betrokken stakeholders.
  • Bewaken van kwaliteit, veiligheid, productiviteit en kostenbeheersing.
  • Definiëren, opvolgen en rapporteren van relevante KPI's.
  • Beheren en opvolgen van de toegewezen budgetten.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Site Director en maakt deel uit van het managementteam van de plant.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma, aangevuld met relevante ervaring binnen logistiek en operations.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen van teams binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving.
  • Ervaring binnen de voedingsindustrie is een sterke troef.
  • Je combineert een analytische mindset met een pragmatische, hands-on aanpak.
  • Je neemt initiatief en voelt je comfortabel in een dynamische operationele omgeving.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Je bent een sterke people manager die medewerkers weet te motiveren en mee te nemen in veranderings- en verbetertrajecten.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met courante IT-toepassingen. Kennis van SAP en Objective is een pluspunt.
