ENGWestCord Hotels B.V. - Logistiek medewerker Wil jij werken op een unieke locatie waar geen dag hetzelfde is? Het ss Rotterdam is op zoek naar een Logistiek Medewerker die ons team fulltime komt versterken. Samen zorgen we ervoor dat alles aan boord soepel verloopt, van perfect ingerichte zalen tot een goed georganiseerd magazijn. Wat ga je doen? Als Logistiek Medewerker ben je een onmisbare schakel in de dagelijkse operatie aan boord. Je start de dag met het gereedmaken van vergader- en eventzalen in de afgesproken opstellingen. Hierbij werk je met authentiek meubilair dat soms al meer dan 60 jaar oud is. Het schip bestaat voor ongeveer 90% uit tapijt en er wordt niet gewerkt met een heftruck. Veel werkzaamheden worden daarom handmatig uitgevoerd. Uiteraard maken we daarbij volop gebruik van steekwagens en karren om materialen en goederen efficiënt en verantwoord te verplaatsen. Afhankelijk van de planning kan je werkdag ook anders beginnen: soms start je eerst met logistieke werkzaamheden en misschien bouw je later op de dag de zalen op. Daarnaast bestaan je werkzaamheden uit: - Ontvangen en op de juiste plek brengen van goederen aan boord - Verplaatsen van materialen en meubilair over meerdere dekken, met behulp van steekwagens en karren - Aanvullen en beheren van het magazijn (van minibarartikelen tot schoonmaakmiddelen) - Verwerken van afval en emballage volgens de geldende procedures Je werkt op een indrukwekkend schip van 228 meter lang met 13 dekken. Dankzij jouw proactieve houding, fysieke inzet en nauwkeurigheid weet jij hier moeiteloos je weg te vinden.
