Functieomschrijving Als logistiek medewerker in Duiven ga je aan de slag in een groot en modern warehouse waar elke dag duizenden zendingen doorheen gaan. Jij bent daarin een onmisbare schakel. Je start je dienst samen met je collega's met een korte briefing, zodat je precies weet wat er die dag moet gebeuren en waar de focus ligt. Daarna ga je als logistiek medewerker aan het werk op de vloer. Je bent continu in beweging en je vindt het juist fijn dat je niet de hele dag stilzit. Het tempo ligt hoog, maar het werk is duidelijk en gestructureerd, waardoor je snel je draai vindt. In je werk als logistiek medewerker ben je bezig met het sorteren van pakketten, het scannen van barcodes en het in en uitpakken van dozen. Jij zorgt dat zendingen op tijd en onbeschadigd de juiste route volgen. In de eerste maanden leer je stap voor stap hoe het proces werkt en draai je veel mee aan de lopende band. Via Smart Handling training leer je hoe je veilig werkt, hoe je slim tilt en hoe je goed samenwerkt in het warehouse. Later kun je extra trainingen volgen, zoals Dangerous Goods Awareness en het werken met een elektrische pallettruck (EPT), zodat je steeds zelfstandiger wordt en meer kunt oppakken. Het werk als logistiek medewerker is fysiek. Je tilt regelmatig pakketten van verschillende formaten en je bent veel aan het lopen, draaien en stapelen. Gelukkig werk je met hulpmiddelen zoals transportbanden en ondersteuning die het werk veiliger en makkelijker maken. Je werkt in drie ploegendiensten die wekelijks wisselen. Flexibiliteit is belangrijk, want samen houden jullie het proces draaiende. Tussendoor kun je in de kantine voordelig eten en drinken en tijdens drukke periodes of feestdagen zorgen we vaak ...
