The posting

Onze klant is een stabiele KMO met een twintigtal medewerkers, actief binnen de technische dienstverlening in de haven van Antwerpen. Omdat een ervaren collega binnenkort met pensioen gaat, zoeken we een Logistiek & Operationeel Coördinator die de dagelijkse operatie mee in goede banen leidt en op termijn wil doorgroeien naar een leidinggevende functie.

Je vormt de schakel tussen de transportplanning, administratie en werkvloer. Je organiseert de transporten, volgt de bijbehorende documenten op en zorgt ervoor dat de dagelijkse werking vlot verloopt. Je leert de verschillende bedrijfsprocessen grondig kennen en krijgt stap voor stap meer verantwoordelijkheid. Het uiteindelijke doel is om door te groeien naar de functie van Operations Manager.

Taken

  • Je plant de inkomende en uitgaande transporten en stemt hierover af met externe vervoerders en verwerkers.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat alle verplichte transportdocumenten en administratieve registers correct en tijdig worden bijgehouden.
  • Je beheert de dagelijkse registers en verzorgt de maandelijkse aangiftes.
  • Je verzamelt en controleert de gegevens voor de facturatie en keurt de bijbehorende bestelbonnen goed.
  • Je denkt mee over een efficiëntere inrichting van het ERP-systeem en de verdere digitalisering van de administratie.
  • Je waakt over de naleving van de veiligheids- en milieuregels en volgt eventuele incidenten correct op.
  • Je koopt verbruiksgoederen en transportdiensten aan binnen het voorziene budget.
  • Je analyseert operationele gegevens en gebruikt deze informatie om processen verder te verbeteren.
  • Je ondersteunt en begeleidt je collega’s en neemt op termijn ook de dagelijkse aansturing van het team op.

Profiel

  • Je hebt minstens vijf jaar ervaring binnen een logistieke, technische of industriële omgeving.
  • Een wetenschappelijke of (bio)chemische achtergrond is een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Specifieke kennis van de relevante wetgeving is niet noodzakelijk. Je bent wel bereid om je hierin via opleiding en zelfstudie te verdiepen.
  • Je werkt vlot met ERP-systemen en kunt operationele data omzetten in praktische inzichten.
  • Je beschikt over leidinggevend potentieel en hebt bewust de ambitie om door te groeien.
