In WZC Sint-Vincentius zoeken we een enthousiaste logopedist(e) die vanuit een sterke professionele expertise mee wil bouwen aan de levenskwaliteit van onze bewoners. Als logopedist zet je in op het stimuleren, herstellen en/of onderhouden van primaire mondfuncties zoals slikken en kauwen, communicatieve functies, cognitie en gehoor.

Vanuit jouw logopedische expertise:

  • sta je in voor preventie en screening bij bewoners met dysfagie, cognitieve problemen en/of moeilijkheden op vlak van taal en spraak;
  • bied je individuele begeleiding, behandeling en opvolging aan bewoners met slikproblemen en/of communicatieve moeilijkheden, met het oog op het ontwikkelen, herstellen of behouden van functies. Organiseer en begeleid je groepsactiviteiten rond onder meer communicatie, cognitie en voeding;
  • observeer je bewoners tijdens maaltijden en draag je bij aan een veilige én aangename maaltijdbeleving; adviseer, begeleid en volg je bewoners op wat betreft voedingsconsistenties; denk je mee na over het gebruik van hulpmiddelen die de zelfstandigheid van bewoners kunnen behouden of versterken;
  • draag je vanuit jouw expertise bij aan de opvolging van voeding, gewicht en eventuele bijvoeding, in nauwe samenwerking met de betrokken leidinggevenden en andere disciplines; geef je waar nodig advies en ondersteuning aan familie en mantelzorgers;
  • organiseer je jaarlijks activiteiten in kader van preventie, nl. tandscreening, screening van het gehoor, …

Met (de leidinggevende van) het keukenteam werk je nauw samen rond voedingsconsistenties, bestellingen, maaltijdlijsten, aangepaste voeding en maaltijdbeleving. De concrete invulling hiervan varieert naargelang de noden binnen de organisatie. We koppelen hier bewust geen afzonderlijk deel van de jobtime aan: deze samenwerking maakt deel uit van je bredere logopedische en overkoepelende opdracht.

Je beschikt over een bachelor in de logopedie of een master in de logopedische wetenschappen en hebt affiniteit met ouderen.

Ervaring in de ouderenzorg is een meerwaarde, maar we kijken minstens even sterk naar wie jij bent en hoe je je functie opneemt.

  • zelfstandig werkt en het eigen werk goed kan organiseren en prioriteren;
  • coachend te werk gaat en expertise op een toegankelijke manier kan overbrengen aan collega's;
  • probleemoplossend denkt en zoekt naar haalbare oplossingen voor bewoners en teams;
  • initiatief neemt en kansen ziet om de logopedische werking verder uit te bouwen;
  • verantwoordelijkheid en eigenaarschap durft op te nemen;
  • graag multidisciplinair en overkoepelend samenwerkt;
  • flexibel kan inspelen op veranderende noden;
  • oog heeft voor de persoon achter de zorgvraag;
  • zich herkent in onze visie op een warme thuis waar zorg, wonen én leven hand in hand gaan.
