The posting

Om taalachterstand bij heel jonge kinderen te voorkomen of snel te verhelpen wordt voorinstructie vanaf de peuterklas tot en met het eerste leerjaar ingevoerd. Het eerste leerjaar is hierbij een cesuurmoment omdat leerlingen bij het leren lezen nog een inhaalbeweging kunnen maken in klassikaal verband. Via een eenvoudige taalscreening wordt nagegaan welke kinderen extra ondersteuning nodig hebben. Zij krijgen individuele begeleiding of werken in kleine groepjes tijdens de reguliere schooltijd.

De ondersteuning focust op de Nederlandse taal die nodig is om de leerstof in de klas vlot te kunnen verwerven.

Leerlingen uit het tweede tot en met het zesde leerjaar van het basisonderwijs die niet in aanmerking komen voor de taalheldklas, maar wel extra taalondersteuning nodig hebben, kunnen extra remediëring krijgen. Deze extra ondersteuning helpt om taalachterstand weg te werken.

Jij bent de leraar die ofwel de voorinstructie geeft, ofwel de remediëring ofwel de beide onderdelen geeft.
