Aan boord van een superjacht draait alles om precisie, betrouwbaarheid en vakmanschap. Elke installatie, of het nu gaat om drinkwatersystemen, vuilwaterafvoer of brandstofleidingen, moet perfect functioneren, vaak op plaatsen waar weinig ruimte is om te werken. Bij Feadship ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het aanleggen, monteren en testen van deze systemen. Je werkt aan boord van 's werelds meest prestigieuze jachten, gebouwd in Nederland en ontworpen tot op het hoogste niveau van luxe en techniek. Techniek die niemand ziet, maar iedereen voelt Als loodgieter zorg je voor het technische comfort van de eindgebruiker. Jij legt de leidingen aan voor water, gas en brandstofsystemen, en zorgt dat de systemen volledig lekvrij, duurzaam en volgens tekening worden opgeleverd. Vaak werk je met materialen zoals RVS of kunststof, en combineer je jouw installatiewerk met eenvoudige vormen van metaalbewerking. Je leest technische tekeningen, stemt af met engineers en collega's uit disciplines als werktuigbouw, interieur en elektra. Die samenwerking is belangrijk. Want jouw leidingen lopen door het hele schip, vaak ook achter wanden, onder vloeren of tussen interieuronderdelen. Eén fout in de routing of aansluiting kan het hele systeem beïnvloeden. Daarom werk je secuur, logisch en gestructureerd, altijd in het belang van het eindresultaat. Een dag vol variatie Wat je dag precies inhoudt? De ene dag trek je leidingen voor een watersysteem door het casco, de andere dag plaats je afsluiters of controleer je op lekkages.
