Als maaitractorchauffeur sta je voornamelijk in voor het maaien van bermen langs gewestwegen en autosnelwegen.

  • Bermen maaien met een maaitractor.
  • De maaitractor en andere machines veilig besturen op de openbare weg en op de werf.
  • Het gebruikte materiaal voorbereiden, correct afstellen en controleren voor vertrek.
  • Basisonderhoud uitvoeren aan de maaitractor en ander materieel.
  • Het onderhoudsboekje en de nodige registraties correct invullen.
  • Machines en werktuigen veilig aan- en afkoppelen.
  • Mee instaan voor het onderhoud van openbare wegen en groenzones.
  • Indien nodig werken met een kettingzaag, grasmachine, bosmaaier, heggenschaar of motorculteur.

De werkdag start vroeg. Om 5u45 ben je aanwezig in Zele, waarna je rond 6u vertrekt naar de werf. Afhankelijk van de planning ben je meestal rond 16u30 à 17u terug in Zele.

Tijdens het maaiseizoen, van ongeveer mei tot november, is het erg druk en kunnen de werkdagen langer uitvallen. In de winterperiode worden opgebouwde overuren opgenomen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die vlot met zware machines overweg kan en verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor zijn materiaal en werk.

  • Een rijbewijs B én rijbewijs G of CE is vereist.
  • Je beschikt over eigen vervoer om zelfstandig in Zele te geraken.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands is noodzakelijk om veiligheidsinstructies correct te begrijpen en toe te passen.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur al ervaring als tractorchauffeur, machinist of in een gelijkaardige functie.
  • Ervaring met een maaitractor of landbouwmachines is een sterke troef.
  • Je bent bereid om fysiek mee te werken wanneer dat nodig is.
  • Vroeg starten en lange werkdagen vormen voor jou geen probleem.
  • Veiligheid, orde en netheid staan bij jou voorop.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook goed binnen een ploeg.
  • Je bent betrouwbaar, zorgvuldig en flexibel.
  • Een VCA-attest is een pluspunt. Heb je dit nog niet, dan behaal je het binnen de eerste 6 maanden.
