Maatschappelijk betrokken teamspeler Vrijwilligerscentrale (VC) Huizen De Vrijwilligerscentrale Huizen is hét expertisecentrum voor vrijwillige inzet en vrijwilligerswerk en aanverwante maatschappelijke projecten. Wij zijn een toegankelijke en deskundige organisatie. Samen met partners creëren wij innovatieve oplossingen en spelen wij daadkrachtig en flexibel in op actuele lokale maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen en vraagstukken. Bij de VC werken 4 medewerkers (3.1 fte) en vaste kantoorvrijwilligers. Aan de VC zijn ruim 200 vrijwilligers verbonden. De stichting wordt primair gesubsidieerd door de gemeente Huizen. Gebieden waarop wij o.a. actief zijn: vrijwillige thuishulp, digitale vacaturebank "Huizen Voorelkaar", samenwerken met en adviseren aan maatschappelijke organisaties, verzorgen van projecten zoals trainingen en maatschappelijke stage. Bestuur en organisatie VC Huizen staat onder dagelijkse leiding van een directeur en kent een (onbezoldigd) toezichthoudend bestuur. VC Huizen hanteert de governance code. Het bestuur: - is eindverantwoordelijk maar heeft een groot deel van de bestuurlijke taken gedelegeerd aan de directie; - houdt toezicht op de uitvoering van de vastgestelde taken, heeft een adviserende rol en fungeert als klankbord voor de directie; - bestaat uit 3-4 leden met ieder een eigen deskundigheid; - vergadert circa 8 x per jaar. Taken De taken van zijn onder meer: - medeverantwoordelijk voor het zorgdragen van een goede oordeels- en besluitvorming door het toezichthoudend bestuur; - mede verantwoordelijk dat de leden van het toezichthoudend bestuur hun kennis en deskundigheid op peil brengen en houden in met name het sociaal en maatschappelijke domein; - het mede jaarlijks beoordelen van het functioneren van de directie en de daaruit volgende voortgang afspraken volgen en bespreken; - het fungeren als klankbord voor de directie met betrekking tot het ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van beleid en strategie; - het houden...
