Dit is de rol Als Ambulant Maatschappelijk Werker start jij je dag afhankelijk van jouw afspraken vanuit huis of kantoor. Met een kop koffie of thee loop jij je mail door en kijkt of er nieuwe aanmeldingen zijn of dat er bijzonderheden zijn omtrent jouw cliënten. Gedurende de dag heb je verschillende afspraken in- of extern. De ene keer heb je casuïstiek bespreking met de gedragsdeskundige en/of procesbegeleider, een teamoverleg of intervisie. De andere keer heb je afspraken buiten de deur zoals een huisbezoek, werkbezoek bij ketenpartners, zoals o.a. jeugdbescherming, OKT, politie, veilig thuis of wijkteams. Tussendoor ben je aan de telefoon met cliënten, beantwoord je vragen of leg je de gemaakte afspraken vast in het systeem. In principe werk je binnen kantooruren, maar je hebt alle ruimte om vorm te geven aan je eigen planning. Waar de veiligheid gewaarborgd wordt, leg je huisbezoeken af, anders spreek je af op kantoor.
