Je maakt deel uit van de Algemene Sociale Dienst (OCMW) binnen de afdeling Welzijn.

Je verzekert het recht op maatschappelijke dienstverlening om mensen in staat te stellen een leven te leiden dat beantwoordt aan de menselijke waardigheid.

Je staat in voor de sociale begeleiding en ondersteuning van cliënten.

Je voert sociaal onderzoek uit en onderzoekt het recht op leefloon.

Je stelt dossiers samen en volgt die op.

Je zorgt voor een goede samenwerking met externe diensten en organisaties.

- Je bent houder van een diploma hoger onderwijs dat toegang geeft tot de functie van maatschappelijk werker – zie link: https://www.vlaanderen.be/rechtspositieregeling/wijzigingsbesluiten/ministerieel-besluit-maatschappelijk-werkers

- Je werkt goed in teamverband maar je kan ook zelfstandig aan de slag

- Kennis over OCMW-wetgeving is een meerwaarde

- Je bent verantwoordelijk, discreet, hulpvaardig, sociaal en empathisch

- Je legt een uittreksel uit het strafregister voor (model 595.1-max. 3 maand oud)

- Je slaagt in de aanwervingsprocedure

Nog niet afgestudeerd maar toch interesse in de functie? Als laatstejaarsstudent kun je toegelaten worden tot de selectie mits je samen met je kandidatuur volgende zaken voorlegt:

- studiebewijs

- verklaring om binnen een termijn van max. 6 maanden deel te nemen aan de eindexamens voor het behalen van je diploma

Je bent in het bezit van je diploma op het moment van de aanstelling.
