The posting

Je komt terecht in een stabiele industriële omgeving waar techniek centraal staat. Je werkt met moderne CNC-machines, maar ook met conventionele technologie. Daardoor blijft je werk afwisselend en kan je verschillende technische vaardigheden blijven gebruiken.

Je krijgt de nodige zelfstandigheid om je werk goed uit te voeren, maar staat er niet alleen voor. Collega's helpen elkaar en technische kennis wordt gedeeld. Kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid zijn belangrijker dan zomaar zoveel mogelijk stukken produceren.

Jobomschrijving

Als operator metaal ken je het metaalvak en weet dat een goed afgewerkt onderdeel begint bij een machine die correct is ingesteld. In deze functie werk je met CNC- en conventionele machines en krijg je de ruimte om zelfstandig je werk aan te pakken. Je leest de plannen, stelt de machines in, controleert je stukken en stuurt bij waar nodig.

Geen job waarbij je enkel een machine bedient, maar een functie waarin je technische kennis en ervaring echt van pas komen.

  • Je bedient CNC- en conventionele draaibanken en CNC-freesmachines.
  • Je stelt de machines in en programmeert waar nodig.
  • Je leest technische tekeningen en zet deze om naar een nauwkeurig afgewerkt onderdeel.
  • Je zorgt voor de materiaaltoevoer en controleert de afmetingen en kwaliteit.
  • Je voert preventief en correctief onderhoud uit aan de machines.
  • Je grijpt in wanneer iets niet correct loopt en stuurt de machine bij.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig aan je opdrachten en overlegt met collega's wanneer een werkstuk of opdracht complexer is.
  • Je denkt mee over hoe een opdracht technisch het best wordt aangepakt
  • Je hebt ervaring als mechanieker, CNC-operator of in een gelijkaardige technische functie.
  • Je hebt een technische achtergrond in mechanica of metaalbewerking (A2 of gelijkwaardig).
  • Je kan technische tekeningen lezen en interpreteren.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Ervaring met Heidenhain TNC640 of een gelijkaardige besturing is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar functioneert ook goed binnen een team.
