Wat ga je doen?

Als MLOps Engineer zorg je dat AI-modellen de stap maken van research naar betrouwbare productie. Je bent de brug tussen innovatie en operationele realiteit. Waar research stopt, neem jij het voortouw. Je takenpakket bestaat grotendeels uit MLOps (±75%) en deels uit research & data engineering (±25%).

MLOps & Productie

  • Je vertaalt researchmodellen naar robuuste, schaalbare oplossingen in productieomgevingen
  • Je bouwt MLOps pipelines, monitoring en model versioning zodat modellen betrouwbaar blijven draaien
  • Je optimaliseert modellen voor productie. Denk aan ONNX-conversie, TensorRT inference-optimalisatie en quantization
  • Je ondersteunt klanten bij modelgerelateerde issues en lost deze snel én structureel op

Research & Data Engineering

  • Je analyseert data, valideert modellen en helpt de datastructuur verder uitbouwen
  • Je werkt aan computer vision toepassingen, waaronder: Automatische sortering van kledij op kleur, materiaal en kwaliteit Detectie van defecten via beeldanalyse Prijsbepaling op basis van foto's
  • Je krijgt de kans om mee te werken aan innovatieve projecten zoals textielsortering, schoenmatching en picking systemen

Samenwerking

Je werkt nauw samen met een research-gedreven AI-engineer. Jij zorgt dat wat in het lab werkt, ook op de fabrieksvloer blijft werken. Performant, monitored en onderhoudbaar.

Wie ben jij?

  • Hands-on en pragmatisch. Je houdt ervan om dingen écht werkend te krijgen
  • Je volgt nieuwe tools en trends binnen AI en durft deze toe te passen, ook op terreinen waar het team nog geen expertise heeft
  • Je krijgt energie van complexe zaken eenvoudig maken
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en houdt overzicht in een dynamische R&D-omgeving
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in een relevante richting (bv. AI, Computer Vision, Creative Technology…)
  • Je hebt ±3 jaar ervaring in machine learning/ AI engineering
  • Sterke software engineering skills: clean code, testbaarheid, productiebetrouwbaarheid
  • Praktische ervaring met modeloptimalisatie.
