The posting

As a Press Line Machine Operator, you are responsible for operating the equipment on the press line, ensuring that the clay is shaped and compacted to the correct form and density before the bricks enter the kiln.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the production line according to the planned production schedule.
  • Setting up and changing over the equipment to meet the required specifications.
  • Operating the production line and monitoring/adjusting parameters in accordance with established procedures.
  • Managing the loading and unloading of the drying chambers.
  • Replenishing the hood kiln.
  • Monitoring and adjusting the quality of the bricks produced.
  • Recording production data and technical observations.
  • Carrying out minor maintenance tasks and ensuring a clean and tidy working environment.

Who Are You?

  • You have a technical qualification or a strong technical aptitude.
  • You have a basic understanding of automated equipment and systems.
  • You have several years of experience as a machine operator or in operating more complex equipment, preferably in a production environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or English.
  • You are willing to work day shifts, starting at 7:30 a.m.
