Voor een toonaangevend familiebedrijf in de regio van Menen, gespecialiseerd in de import en verwerking van hoogwaardige Afrikaanse houtsoorten, zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven Operator. Werk je graag met een natuurlijk product en schrikt fysiek uitdagend werk je niet af? Dan is deze rol binnen een stabiele en groeiende omgeving precies wat je zoekt. Je komt terecht in een team waar kwaliteit en vakmanschap centraal staan.

Om in aanmerking te komen voor deze functie, herken je jezelf in het volgende profiel:

  • Ervaring: Je hebt reeds relevante ervaring opgedaan als operator in een productieomgeving (ervaring in de houtsector is een sterke troef).
  • Technische kennis: Je beschikt over een goed technisch inzicht om machines in te stellen en kleine storingen te signaleren.
  • Fysieke conditie: Gezien de aard van het product (massief hout) is het werk fysiek zwaar; een goede conditie en doorzettingsvermogen zijn essentieel.
  • Attitude: Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor veiligheid en bent een echte teamplayer die houdt van aanpakken.
  • Talen: Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van de Nederlandse taal, alsook kennis Frans en Engels

Als operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vlot verloop van het productieproces:

  • Het bedienen en instellen van houtbewerkingsmachines volgens de opgelegde specificaties.
  • Kwaliteitscontrole van de inkomende en uitgaande houtproducten.
  • Het fysiek manipuleren en sorteren van zware houtstukken.
  • Zorgen voor een nette en veilige werkomgeving.
  • Samenwerken met collega's om de dagelijkse productiedoelen te behalen.
