We een Machine Safety Expert die optreedt als Single Point of Contact (SPOC) voor machineveiligheid binnen een R&D- en labo-omgeving.

De focus ligt op labo equipment dat steeds complexer en meer geautomatiseerd wordt. Jouw rol is cruciaal om machine safety structureel te verankeren: niet alleen door processen te volgen, maar vooral door ze praktisch toepasbaar te maken in het veld.

Je werkt grotendeels autonoom, in nauwe samenwerking met R&D-teams, equipment owners en EHS, en fungeert als brug tussen business en veiligheid.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Fungeren als SPOC voor machine safety binnen een R&D/labo-context
  • Toezien op naleving van machine safety- en EHS-processen bij aankoop, commissioning en gebruik van labo equipment
  • Integreren van machine safety-vereisten vanaf de vroege fase van de equipment lifecycle (procurement & design)
  • Coördineren en opvolgen van acties uit machine safety risk assessments
  • Ondersteunen bij het wegwerken van historische of resterende machine safety risico’s
  • Mee ondersteunen van MOC-processen (Management of Change)
  • Voorbereiden van safety dossiers en afstemming met EHS
  • Actief aanwezig zijn in labo’s en technische omgevingen om risico’s te detecteren en te begeleiden
  • Coördineren van machine safety-trainingen en verhogen van awareness binnen R&D
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in machine safety, EHS of preventie binnen een labo-, R&D- of industriële omgeving
  • Sterke affiniteit met labo equipment en automatisatie (ervaring buiten pharma is ook relevant)
  • Kennis van relevante wetgeving en veiligheidsprincipes rond machineveiligheid
  • Preventieadviseur niveau 2 is een sterke plus
  • CMSE-certificatie of gelijkwaardige opleiding is een meerwaarde
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, bent proactief en durft vlot contacten te leggen
  • Sterk in stakeholdermanagement en het verbinden van business en veiligheidsdepartementen
