Bij BAM werk je met unieke machines aan projecten die Nederland verbinden, versterken en verduurzamen. Als Machinist Groot Mechanisch Gereedschap (GMG) speel jij een belangrijke rol in onze spoorprojecten. Je werkt met moderne stopmachines, ballastafwerkmachines en slijptreinen. Samen met je collega‑Machinisten, Monteurs en Ploegleiders zorg je ervoor dat het spoor veilig berijdbaar blijft. Dit ga je doen: - Besturen en bedienen van groot mechanisch gereedschap zoals slijptreinen, stopmachines en ballastafwerkmachines. - Uitvoeren van onderhoud en lichte reparaties aan het materieel. - Werken volgens de geldende veiligheidsrichtlijnen en voorschriften. - Volgen van vakgerichte cursussen zodat je kennis en certificeringen up‑to‑date blijven. - Samenwerken in een multidisciplinair team om projecten succesvol en veilig af te ronden. Jouw team Je komt te werken binnen BAM Infra, in een team dat gespecialiseerd is in spooronderhoud en spoorvernieuwing. Het werkgebied is landelijk, waardoor je op uiteenlopende locaties aan de slag gaat. De standplaats is Dordrecht, maar omdat we door heel Nederland actief zijn, is het prettig als je centraal woont. Het werk vindt veelal plaats in de avond en nacht, zodat het treinverkeer minimaal hinder ondervindt.
