Dan hebben wij de perfecte baan voor jou! Wij bieden een baan waarbij je niet alleen graaft, maar ook helpt met het aansluiten van leidingen voor brandstofinstallaties. Met de nodige ervaring en motivatie kun je bij ons ook nog doorgroeien naar de functie monteur brandstoftechniek. Wat jij gaat doen als machinist graafmachine/grondwerker Voordat een brandstofinstallatie klaar is voor gebruik, moet er heel wat grondwerk gebeuren. Jij graaft de sleuven, helpt met het opgraven van de oude tanks en helpt je collega's bij het aanleggen van de nieuwe leidingen en het plaatsen van de nieuwe tanks. Soms werk je aan het vervangen of keuren van een bestaande installatie, soms breid je een brandstofinstallatie uit en soms help je bij de bouw van een nieuw tankstation. Je werkt op verschillende projectlocaties, meestal bij tankstations of bij bedrijven met een eigen tankinstallatie. Veel mensen zien alleen de pomp, maar dankzij jouw werk stroomt de brandstof straks veilig en onzichtbaar onder de grond van de tank naar de pomp. Meestal werk je één tot een paar weken op dezelfde locatie. Heb je een vrachtwagenrijbewijs? Dan rijd je de graafmachine zelf met een vrachtwagen naar de projectlocatie. Anders reis je met een bus en aanhanger, zelfstandig of samen met collega's. Meestal besteden we het straatwerk uit, maar soms doe je het zelf, afhankelijk van de omvang van het werk. Er liggen ontzettend veel leidingen en kabels in de grond, het is dus echt belangrijk dat je nauwkeurig werkt. Dat maakt het werk juist uitdagend en afwisselend.
