Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde staalhandelaar met een geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1928.

Naast de handel in staal worden verschillende bewerkingen uitgevoerd, zoals autogeen- en plasmabranden, boren, zagen, markeren, stralen en schilderen. Je werkt dus in een omgeving waar staal, machines en logistiek centraal staan. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om je vaardigheden verder uit te bouwen via interne opleidingen, afgestemd op jouw interesses en mogelijkheden.

Jobomschrijving

Als voorlader ben je een belangrijke schakel binnen de logistieke werking.

  • Je laadt en lost vrachtwagens met behulp van een rolbrug.
  • Je verplaatst grote en zware staalproducten veilig en correct.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat elke lading stabiel en volgens de afspraken wordt geladen.
  • Je overlegt met de chauffeur en stemt de lading goed af.
  • Je controleert of alles correct en verzendklaar is voor de klant.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en blijft gefocust op veiligheid, ook wanneer de planning strak zit.
  • Je houdt je werkplek georganiseerd en werkt volgens de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften.

Het werk heeft een repetitief karakter: vrachtwagens worden dagelijks geladen en gelost. Tegelijk is geen lading exact hetzelfde. De producten en samenstelling verschillen, waardoor je telkens opnieuw goed moet nadenken over de manier waarop je de vrachtwagen laadt.

  • Je spreekt en begrijpt uitstekend Nederlands.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met een rolbrug.
  • Je schrikt niet terug van repetitief werk.
  • Je werkt aandachtig, nauwkeurig en gestructureerd.
  • Veiligheid staat voor jou altijd voorop.
  • Je bent matuur en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk.
  • Je kan duidelijk communiceren met chauffeurs en collega's.
  • Je kan zelfstandig en geconcentreerd werken tijdens de vaste nacht.

Ervaring met een rolbrug is een sterke troef, maar vooral jouw werkhouding en verantwoordelijkheidszin maken het verschil.
