Heb je al ervaring met een rolbrug en zoek je een stabiele job in de vaste nacht? Dan kan dit een mooie volgende stap zijn. Je werkt met grote en zware staalproducten en zorgt ervoor dat elke vrachtwagen veilig en correct geladen vertrekt. Omdat je tijdens de nacht vaak zelfstandig werkt, is een eerste ervaring met een rolbrug noodzakelijk. Je start eerst in 2 ploegen om de werking en machines grondig te leren kennen. Zodra je de job goed onder de knie hebt, stap je over naar de vaste nacht.

Wat ga je doen? Als voorlader ben je een belangrijke schakel binnen het logistieke team.

  • Je laadt en lost vrachtwagens met behulp van een rolbrug.
  • Je verplaatst grote en zware staalproducten op een veilige en correcte manier.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat elke vrachtwagen stabiel en volgens de afspraken geladen is.
  • Je overlegt met chauffeurs over de lading en volgt alles goed op.
  • Je controleert of de vracht correct en volledig verzendklaar is.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en houdt altijd rekening met veiligheid.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een nette en georganiseerde werkomgeving.

Het werk heeft een herkenbaar ritme, maar geen enkele vrachtwagen is exact hetzelfde. De producten en ladingen verschillen, waardoor je telkens opnieuw aandachtig moet inschatten hoe alles correct geladen wordt.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht bij een gevestigde staalhandelaar met een geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1928.

Naast de verkoop van staal worden verschillende bewerkingen uitgevoerd, zoals autogeen- en plasmabranden, boren, zagen, markeren, stralen en schilderen. Je werkt in een professionele omgeving waar staal, techniek en logistiek centraal staan.

Je krijgt bovendien de mogelijkheid om via interne opleidingen je vaardigheden verder uit te bouwen, afgestemd op jouw interesses en mogelijkheden.

  • Je hebt ervaring met een rolbrug.
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt uitstekend Nederlands.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en verantwoordelijkheid nemen.
  • Je schrikt niet terug van repetitief werk.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt veel aandacht voor veiligheid.
  • Je bent matuur en betrouwbaar.
  • Je communiceert vlot met chauffeurs en collega's.
  • Ervaring met een heftruck en/of reachtruck is een sterke plus.
  • Je bent bereid om eerst in 2 ploegen te werken tijdens je opleiding en daarna over te stappen naar de vaste nacht.
