Onze klant is een bedrijf dat internationaal actief is in de productie van voeding. Ze hechten veel belang aan de kwaliteit van de producten en investeren voortdurend in nieuwe technologieën om niet alleen deze kwaliteit te kunnen blijven garanderen, maar dit ook te doen met oog voor het milieu. Jobomschrijving

Je geeft leiding aan een team van een 15-tal magazijnmedewerkers, waaronder warehouse operators en heftruckchauffeurs.

Je bewaakt de dagelijkse werking van het magazijn en stuurt bij waar nodig, van de ontvangst van grondstoffen tot de verzending van afgewerkte producten.

Je ondersteunt je team bij vragen en problemen en zet daarbij je logistiek en operationeel inzicht in. Je werkt dagelijks met het warehouse management systeem en zorgt ervoor dat de planning correct verloopt en alles veilig en tijdig wordt uitgevoerd.

Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met andere afdelingen en denk je actief mee over verbeteringen om de werking nog efficiënter en vlotter te maken.

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor in logistiek, supply chain of industriële automatisering of een diploma industrieel ingenieur, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Pas afgestudeert en ambitie? Je komt zeker ook in aanmerking!
  • Ervaring in de logistieke sector is een must.
  • Je communiceert vlot en krijgt energie van aansturen van je team.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en durft beslissingen te nemen
  • Dankzij je problemsolving skills kan je systemen vlot bedienen, analyseren en bijsturen om problemen snel op te lossen.
  • Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands, goede kennis van het Frans en een goed begrip van het Engels zijn vereist.
  • Je werkt in een vijfploegenstelsel (volcontinu systeem).
