Voor onze klant, een groeiend familiebedrijf in de voedingsindustrie regio Westerlo, zijn wij op zoek naar een Maintenance Engineer. Het bedrijf is gespecialiseerd in de productie van kwalitatieve voedingsproducten en blijft sterk investeren in innovatie, automatisatie en de verdere optimalisatie van het machinepark.

Als Maintenance Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in het verhogen van de betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van de productie- en verpakkingsinstallaties. Je combineert technische expertise met een analytische blik en werkt mee aan de verdere professionalisering van het onderhoudsbeleid.

Jouw functie

  • Je ontwikkelt, implementeert en bewaakt het preventief onderhoudsbeleid voor het volledige machinepark.
  • Je vertaalt onderhoudsstrategieën naar concrete onderhoudsplannen, werkmethodes en verbeteracties.
  • Je analyseert technische problemen en ondersteunt bij structurele oplossingen.
  • Je optimaliseert onderhoudsprocessen en draagt bij aan een hogere betrouwbaarheid van de installaties.
  • Je beheert en optimaliseert het onderhoudssysteem.
  • Je organiseert en coördineert het jaarlijks groot onderhoud samen met Engineering en de technische dienst.
  • Je ondersteunt techniekers en engineers bij complexe technische vraagstukken.
  • Je begeleidt externe partners en contractors tijdens onderhouds- en investeringsprojecten.
  • Je rapporteert onderhoudsprestaties en formuleert verbeteringsvoorstellen.
  • Je adviseert het management over onderhoudsstrategie, technische investeringen en asset reliability.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in mechanica, elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardige technische richting.
  • Je hebt minimum 3 jaar ervaring binnen een productieomgeving met focus op onderhoud of engineering.
  • Je hebt een sterke technische kennis van mechanica, hydraulica en pneumatiek.
  • Ervaring met onderhoudsmanagement en CAD-systemen is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt graag analytisch en gestructureerd, maar behoudt ook een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en kan goed samenwerken met verschillende afdelingen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en bent flexibel ingesteld bij wisselende prioriteiten.
