Vanuit de Verenigde Staten worden vier productielocaties in Nederland aangestuurd met allen een eigen expertise. Over de functie Als maintenance engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verbeteren van het onderhoud aan technische systemen en installaties. Dit is essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat alles betrouwbaar en efficiënt functioneert. Dit houdt in dat je moet weten hoe snel er storingen kunnen optreden en wat de impact hiervan is op de kosten en de veiligheid. Je kijkt naar de prestaties van de installatie en de huidige staat ervan. Door moderne technieken en analyses toe te passen, krijg je een goed inzicht in hoe efficiënt de apparatuur werkt en hoe lang deze kan meegaan. Een andere belangrijke taak is het geven van goed advies over het onderhoudsbudget, zowel voor de korte als de lange termijn. Je moet kunnen inschatten welke materialen nodig zijn, hoe je reserveonderdelen effectief kunt beheren en of er alternatieven zijn om productie soepel te laten verlopen. Door voortdurend bestaande onderhoudsplannen te evalueren en waar nodig aan te passen, zorg je ervoor dat het onderhoud nog effectiever wordt. Dit kan variëren van kleine veranderingen in onderhoudstaken tot een volledige herziening van procedures. Als maintenance engineer stel jij regelmatig nieuwe onderhoudstechnieken en meetmethoden voor.
