Jouw uitdaging

Als Maintenance Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het optimaal beheer en onderhoud van het machinepark van Smet Tunnelling. Je coördineert onderhouds- en herstellingswerken, analyseert technische problemen en werkt mee aan structurele verbeteringen om de prestaties en rendabiliteit van het materieel te verhogen. Dankzij jouw technische expertise zorg je ervoor dat onze projecten kunnen rekenen op veilig, efficiënt en betrouwbaar materieel.

Jouw werkplek

Jouw werkplaats bevindt zich op onze hoofdzetel in Dessel. Het kantoor ligt op een bedrijventerrein en is goed bereikbaar via verschillende verbindingswegen. Tijdens de middagpauze of na het werk kan je even ontspannen in de omliggende natuur, bijvoorbeeld met een wandeling in het Prinsenpark.

Jouw team valt onder de firma Smet Tunnelling. Zij zijn de specialist in ondergrondse, duurzame verbindingen en leidingrenovaties. Onze divisie Tunnelling realiseert tunnelboringen en doorpersingen voor zowel openbare opdrachtgevers als de industrie. Dit in zowel binnen- als buitenland (West-Europa), en voor korte of lange duur. Onze divisie Leidingrenovatie maakt en bewaakt de kwaliteit van rioleringen en leidingen voor openbare opdrachtgevers en de industrie.

Wat jij gaat doen

Als Maintenance Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van al het uitvoeringsmateriaal. Je coördineert in samenwerking met het atelier het onderhoud en de herstellingen van onze machines en werkt aan het betrouwbaarder en rendabeler maken van al het materieel.

Jouw belangrijkste taken:

  • Onderhoud organiseren en verzekeren dat het wordt voorbereid, gepland en uitgevoerd op de meest kosteneffectieve manier.
  • Identificeren, analyseren en beoordelen van onderhoudsproblemen.
  • De tekortkomingen herzien in het onderhoud met de voorbereider en technische dienst.
  • Je staat in voor het Spare Parts Management.
  • Op werfbezoek gaan in geval van machine-technische of proces-gerelateerde problemen en bij opstart van nieuw ontwikkelde technieken.
  • Nieuwe machines, uitrustingen en technologieën bestuderen en voorstellen doen van machine-optimalisaties of nieuwbouw van machines.
  • Werfpersoneel opleiden voor het juiste gebruik en onderhoud van de machines.

Het bovengenoemde vergt een goede samenwerking met ons technisch atelier, externe machineleveranciers en werfverantwoordelijken.

Wie jij bent

  • Je genoot een machine-technische scholing op bachelor of ingenieursniveau.
  • Je kan goed prioriteiten bepalen en hebt een goed analytisch inzicht.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en een teamspeler.
  • Ja kan goed inspelen op veranderende omstandigheden.
  • Je hebt kennis van hydraulica, elektriciteit en mechanica.
  • Talenkennis: Nederlands, Frans (noties Duits zijn een pluspunt).
