As our new Manager Accounting Operations, you are responsible for the smooth execution of our accounting operations across multiple countries. What you'll do You will lead a team of 19 international finance professionals (5 direct reports), define strategy and drive process harmonization and standardization, and are responsible for compliance, efficiency, and service excellence. You are both a people leader and a change driver who thrives in an international environment and enjoys optimizing processes while building high-performing teams. You report to the Manager Financial Accounting. As Manager Accounting Operations, you are responsible for the performance, SLAs,compliance and continuous improvement of the Accounting Operations teams. You actively: - Coach and develop your team leaders and accounting professionals to become the best version of themselves. - Manage and control team performance against KPIs and service level agreements, and report on team performance to management. - Conduct periodic performance and development reviews with your direct reports. - Directly manage the invoicing staff and oversee the departmental manual invoicing process. - Provide first approval of bank payments. - Act as the escalation point for operational and stakeholder issues that exceed Team Leader authority. - Foster collaboration across Finance and the wider Boels organization. - Create an engaged, motivated, and high-performing team culture. - Drive process optimization, standardization, and harmonization initiatives across the different areas where people are located. - Identify and initiate opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and automation. - Support M&A integration projects and ensure successful onboarding of newly acquired companies. - Supp...
