Het bedrijf maakt deel uit van de Friedhelm Loh Group, een Duits familiebedrijf dat in decennia denkt in plaats van in kwartalen. Samen met zusterbedrijf Eplan vormt Rittal in Nederland TeamRed. Daarmee leveren ze klanten niet alleen producten, maar helpen ze hen ook hun hele engineering- en paneelbouwproces in te richten. De Business Unit Industry is marktleider en vormt daarmee het grootste deel van de Nederlandse business. Zestig procent daarvan komt uit directe verkoop, veertig procent loopt via de elektrotechnische groothandel. De uitdaging Op 1 januari is Rittal gestart met een nieuwe salesstrategie. Sindsdien werkt de organisatie met marktteams, jaagt ze op groei in vijf markten waar het hard gaat, en verdedigt ze tegelijkertijd het hoge marktaandeel dat in dertig jaar is opgebouwd. Die strategie staat op papier. Hoe je hem invult en waarmaakt, dat is jouw belangrijkste opdracht. Rittal is er nog lang niet.
