Je nieuwe baan Ben jij een Manager Engineering die techniek begrijpt, overzicht houdt en het team verder helpt groeien. Geen manager op afstand, maar iemand die inhoudelijk kan sparren, structuur aanbrengt en keuzes maakt die je terugziet op de werkvloer. Dan is BMO Automation op zoek naar jou! Je ziet kansen waar anderen complexiteit zien. In robotsystemen, software en mechatronische integratie. Je stuurt een multidisciplinair team van circa 15 engineers aan (Mechanical, Robot, Software en Elektro) en zorgt dat alles samenkomt: van eerste ontwerp tot werkende installatie. Wat ga je doen? Als Manager Engineering ben je verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing en doorontwikkeling van de engineeringafdeling. Je brengt structuur aan, zorgt voor duidelijke processen en bewaakt de samenhang tussen disciplines. Je schakelt dagelijks met teamleads, Productmanagement, Sales en Operations en houdt overzicht over zowel R&D, ETO (Engineer To Order) als CTO (Configure To Order) trajecten. Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden: - Aansturen en coachen van een team van ±15 engineers en teamleads - Doorontwikkelen van de engineeringafdeling (structuur, samenwerking, volwassenheid) - Opzetten en bewaken van planning en capaciteit over R&D en ETO projecten - Implementeren en borgen van uniforme werkmethodieken - Bewaken van voortgang, kwaliteit en afhankelijkheden binnen projecten - Signaleren en oplossen van bottlenecks - Organiseren van samenwerking tussen Mechanical, Robot, Software en Elektro - Opzetten en bewaken van systeemarchitectuur - Meedenken over technische keuzes en richting van oplossingen - Input geven aan product- en technologie roadmap.
