Manager Environment, Sustainability & Auditing (ESA) - 09-08-2026 - WO - Maastricht, Nederland - Overig Opdrachtgever: Sappi Maastricht is een technologisch hoogwaardige productieomgeving met een van de grootste kartonmachines ter wereld en een productiecapaciteit van circa 280.000 ton per jaar. Daarnaast speelt de locatie een actieve rol in de energiemarkt, onder andere als balancing services provider (aFRR) voor netstabiliteit. Functie-informatie: Binnen Sappi Maastricht ligt een cruciale verantwoordelijkheid: het borgen van de license to operate van een complexe industriële site. Als Manager ESA ben jij eindverantwoordelijk voor alles wat raakt aan milieu, duurzaamheid en naleving van wet- en regelgeving. Je opereert op het snijvlak van productie, wetgeving en maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid en zorgt dat deze in balans blijven. Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor: - Milieu- en emissievraagstukken (water, lucht, CO₂, energie) - Vergunningen en compliance richting o.a. provincie en toezichthouders - Audits en managementsystemen (ISO, FSC/PEFC e.d.) - Rapportages (jaarverslagen, emissierapportages, verbruiksdata) Daarmee draag je direct bij aan de continuïteit van een site waar honderden mensen werkzaam zijn én aan de relatie met de omgeving waarin Sappi opereert. Dit maakt de rol inhoudelijk complex: - Je werkt met variabele en deels externe inputstromen (o.a. water) - Je opereert binnen strikte en voortdurend veranderende regelgeving - Je schakelt met interne én externe stakeholders op meerdere niveaus Je verantwoordelijkheid strekt zich uit over drie kerngebieden: 1. Milieu & Compliance - Ontwikkelen van strategie, beleid en doelstellingen - Waarborgen van naleving van wet- en regelgeving (o.a. via MAKE Online) - Coördineren van vergunningen en wettelijke verplichtingen - Opstellen van interne en externe rapportages - Initiëren en analyseren van root cause analyses bij incidenten 2.
