De Harmonie onderscheidt zich met een brede en gelaagde programmering en zet zich in voor een breder welzijn van de samenleving. Jaarlijks worden zo'n 300 voorstellingen geprogrammeerd, maar het totaal aan activiteiten is een veelvoud hiervan. De Harmonie werkt samen met veel (maatschappelijke) partners in de stedelijke en regionale omgeving. In die contacten komen initiatieven tot stand die bijdragen aan maatschappelijke participatie en sociale cohesie. Ook zijn we het huis voor meerdere festivals. Het gebouw is net verbouwd en biedt vele mogelijkheden met 3 zalen waar respectievelijk 1000, 500 en 280 bezoekers terecht kunnen. Daarnaast is de nieuwe ruimte TOON toegevoegd die de functie van De Harmonie verder verbreedt. De Harmonie werkt met een begroting van ruim € 11 miljoen. De formatie telt 44 fte (53 medewerkers) met een flexibele schil van 40 medewerkers. De Harmonie kan rekenen op de enthousiaste inzet van zo'n 100 vrijwilligers. De organisatie is volop in ontwikkeling om de gelegde basis verder vorm te geven. De organisatie van De Harmonie wordt geleid door een directeur-bestuurder waarbij wordt gerapporteerd aan een Raad van Toezicht. De manager Finance & Compliance geeft leiding aan vier Finance professionals. Wat ga je doen? De manager is vanzelfsprekend verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van het financiële meerjarenperspectief van De Harmonie, de begroting, het investeringsplan en de jaarrekening. Dit vormt dan ook de stevige basis voor de functie.
