The posting

Voor een internationale speler actief in de realisatie van complexe industriële installaties zoeken we een ervaren Manager Mechanical Construction. Je neemt de leiding over de mechanische uitvoering van verschillende projecten en zorgt ervoor dat installaties correct, veilig en volgens planning worden opgebouwd.

De focus ligt sterk op mechanische constructie, montage en installatie. Denk hierbij aan staalconstructies, leidingwerk, equipment, bordessen, ondersteuningen en transportsystemen. Je stuurt de betrokken teams aan, bewaakt de uitvoeringskwaliteit en zorgt voor een vlotte overgang van constructie naar technische oplevering.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je geeft leiding aan de teams die instaan voor de mechanische voorbereiding, montage en constructie van industriële installaties.
  • Je plant de inzet van werfleiders, supervisors, monteurs en externe montagepartners over verschillende projecten.
  • Je bewaakt de uitvoering van staalconstructies, piping, equipment, bordessen, ondersteuningen en transportsystemen.
  • Je beoordeelt technische tekeningen, montagedossiers, werkmethodes en uitvoeringsplannen op haalbaarheid.
  • Je stemt de constructievolgorde af met Engineering, Project Management en leveranciers.
  • Je volgt de voortgang, kwaliteit, veiligheid en productiviteit van de werkzaamheden op.
  • Je bewaakt maatvoering, toleranties, laswerken, aansluitingen en mechanische inspecties.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte opvolging van afwijkingen, restpunten en technische aanpassingen tijdens de montage.
  • Je coördineert mechanische testen, druktesten en inspecties in aanloop naar de oplevering.
  • Je ondersteunt de teams bij complexe technische of constructieve problemen op de werf.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met klanten, contractors en gespecialiseerde installatiepartners.
  • Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit de regio Antwerpen en bezoekt buitenlandse projectlocaties wanneer nodig.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je hebt een technische bachelor of master en minstens tien jaar relevante ervaring.
  • Je beschikt over sterke kennis van mechanische constructie, piping en industriële installaties.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen van technische teams en contractors.
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, behoudt het overzicht en bent bereid internationaal te reizen.
