Als Manager Productie bij GLS in Rotterdam geef je dagelijks leiding aan een team van 15 tot 20 logistiek medewerkers. Jij zorgt ervoor dat het productieproces soepel verloopt en weet je team te motiveren om samen de beste resultaten te behalen. Je werkt nauw samen met andere teamleiders en de Production Manager. Daarnaast heb je dagelijks contact met pakketbezorgers, linehaulchauffeurs, transportcoördinatoren en uitzendbureaus om de operatie optimaal te laten verlopen. Je rapporteert aan de Production Manager en neemt deel aan het depot- en teamleidersoverleg. Deze functie wordt uitgevoerd in een drieploegendienst (ochtend-, avond- en nachtdienst). Daarom is flexibiliteit in werktijden belangrijk. Het werk kan daarnaast fysiek belastend zijn. Wat ga je doen? - Je geeft dagelijks leiding aan een team van 15 tot 20 logistiek medewerkers en ondersteunt waar nodig zelf op de werkvloer. - Je coacht, motiveert en begeleidt medewerkers in hun ontwikkeling. - Je bewaakt de planning, voortgang en kwaliteit van de dagelijkse werkzaamheden. - Je verzorgt de personeelsadministratie, waaronder de urenregistratie, verlofaanvragen en ziekmeldingen. - Je instrueert en begeleidt nieuwe medewerkers en ziet toe op de naleving van veiligheids-, arbo- en bedrijfsrichtlijnen. - Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van de afgesproken KPI's en stuurt bij waar nodig. - Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen binnen het productieproces en draagt bij aan een efficiënte werkwijze. - Je zorgt voor een veilige, nette en georganiseerde werkomgeving en controleert periodiek de machines en hulpmiddelen. - Je onderhoudt dagelijks co...
